Corey got accepted into the RN program at Dixie State College and will be starting in January 2012! It is a 3 semester program so he should be done by May 2013! He will have a lot more schooling to go after this program but that's ok he is on the path to his career! We are so excited and I couldn't be more proud of him! He has been doing so good in school lately too! He is awesome! I just have to brag sometimes.... :)

Kite Festival!

We had such a great summer! It seems like it went by so fast! Here are some of our highlights!

**It started off with my little brother Robby graduated form Desert Hills high school! He is just so cute, I love him so much. he is just going to DSC and working hard at enterprise Rent-a-car.

**In the first part of June we went to California and stayed in Carlsbad (see post before this) We ate, slept, played, swam, layed out, shopped, ate, and explored! So much fun! LOVE California!

**Corey wants me to write again he WAS OUT OF SCHOOL FOR THE SUMMER! ha ha that was definitely the highlight of his summer! :)

**Corey's older brother and his cute family drove all the way from Ohio from Medical school to spend a couple months here with family. And man do they have the CUTEST kids ever! We love them so much! Hallie, Annie, Barry, And sweet little Natalie! We got together for dinner a lot with them. We have a tradition of eating french toast for dinner with them whenever they come! We also showed the Menchies and they loved it so we went there a lot too. We miss them so much already but we are glad they made it back safe and are adjusted back to normal life!

**We went camping a few times with My little brother! So fun! Especially for Corey because anyone who knows my husband well he absolutely LOVES camping and having a fire and cooking outside! We also brought some guns and went shooting, which I really love to do! I even got to shoot the big guns the .243 and the 45 Magnum (at least I think thats what they were) :)

**we went up to SLC in August to see Tim McGraw in concert! And can I just tell you he was AMAZING! We loved him before but even more after the show! The Band Perry and Luke Bryan opened for him and they were way good too! And we are pretty sure that we passed Tim's tour bus on our way home! We saw it at the show and then after when we were driving back we totally saw it on the I-15 heading South! Pretty cool. ha ha. When we were up there we also went on a tour of good old Lehi! Corey lived there until he was in 6th grade so we went all over and saw his old houses and school and we ate at his favorite restaurant growing up Porter's Place.

**Corey went on a few very fun hikes this summer! He did the Subway and Fat Man's Misery with some of his friends from work! He loved it. And what an accomplishment? I have heard they are pretty strenuous hikes. I wish I could have gone but I was working while he went. And yes...the whole time he was gone I was slightly panicked hoping he was safe because they were repelling and up on some high cliffs. What can I say I love the guy...I wanted him to make it back! :)

We had such a great summer getting to do some really fun things and just getting a lot done around our house! I hope everyone had a great summer!

We had a GREAT time in California the first part of June this summer! It was so nice for Corey to take the summer off of school and for us to get some play time in! We went to the beach in Carlsbad and Oceanside, shopped, ate, went to Universal Studios, ate, beach, rode a train alongside the ocean to downtown San Diego and Old town, ate some more, went for morning runs on the beach, rode the tandem bike around, and lounged around with family and friends! It was so fun to have a vacation! We hadn't got to go for like 2 years since Corey has been in school full time year round the whole time we have been married! It was so nice to be able to just sit around and do nothing if we wanted or go and go til' we couldn't walk anymore! We loved it and we are so grateful we had the opportunity to go!

So I know it has been forever...again...but sometimes I just have a lot going on and Blogging happens to be at the bottom of my list! But lately I have been thinking that I need to do it more since it is pretty much like a journal! Anyways life has been great! I graduated from hair school in September of 2010. Which was way awesome! 2 years is a L O N G time. Corey has just been plugging away in school and doing so great! He has been getting awesome grades! I am so proud! He is also still working at BioLife and really likes that too! And I am still working at Jeppson Dental and I also do some hair on the side as well. We are so excited for summertime, Corey is not taking any classes (this is the first summer since we have been married he is not doing summer school) And so we are going to be going to San Diego and on other fun adventures as well! It will be so nice to have a summer to play!

Summer of LOVE

I know I have been MIA...but the important thing is i am here now! :) We have been busy but havin' a good time! I graduated Cosmetology School! Yay! I have just been waiting for my license in the mail! I am still not sure what I am going to do when i get it! It is so hard to build a clientele in these economic times...I love doing hair but i also love working for Dr. Jeppson! We will see what the future holds! Corey has just been working away in school and at work. Doing awesome at both i might add. We had a way fun summer full of Tandem rides, swimming, hanging out with great family and friends, lake trips, shopping trips to Vegas, and eating awesome food! So our life has been pretty blissful to be quite honest. I have recently become addicted to 24. Which sometimes I think is something i should have never started...ha ha oh well! Anyways...we are so blessed and are happy to just be living life! I am really going to try to be better at blogging! I hope all is well with everyone out there!

Ok, I know it has been a while since i posted...i have been slacking lately. But you all know how busy i am so it's ok! :) So we have been good lately! We have been workin' and playing hard! I had my 21st birthday on March 19th and it was such a great day! Seriously i loved it! I always love birthdays, it is fun to have a day devoted to you! Cor took me down to Las Vegas shopping a week before my birthday because we had school stuff the weekend of my birthday, so anyways we went down with Jake and Heather Sessions and just went shopping and ate and bummed around! On my actual birthday I got flowers and a huge boquet of balloons at work! Oh and i forgot my favorite cookies and candy! (Harmons iced sugar cookies and chocolate covered cinnamon bears Yum!) And that night we went to dinner with Jake and Heather and just hung out! It was a great day!

Then a few weeks later Jake and Heather invited us to go with them up to Heather's family's cabin in Bear Lake! I had never been North of Ogden before so that was quite the adventure! we got to stop in Brigham City, Mantua, and Logan to see some of Heather's family! It was way fun! It was so beautiful up there. We were there from Thurs-Sun.It was a really great trip we got to take the dogs with us so that was interesting, frustrating and fun all at the same time! ha ha when we were in Logan we left the dogs in the car and went into Wal Mart to shop for groceries and we came out and Indie (Jake and Heather's pit bull) had eaten all of our no bake cookies that Heather's mom made for us! Ha ha it was funny but we were upset that all the cookies were gone. It was funny. Heather and I went running up there and that was quite the experience. Seriously it is so much harder to run at a high elevation. And especially with Heather she is seriously crazy when it comes to running. She kicked my trash! We also got to eat yummy Bear Lake shakes we had peach, Fresh raspberry, Raspberry cheescake and cookies and cream (my fav)! I suggest if you ever go up to Bear Lake you for sure stop and get one!

The other day Some of my girl friends from high school and I went to lunch at Pine View's Pizza/Pasta Factory to just "catch up" and hang out! It was so fun. I always love getting to spend time with them, i have such great friends!

I have totally not been good at posting lately...I know. I need to get better but i am just busy! Anyways, we had a great Valentines weekend! We went to dinner and saw Valentines Day. It was way cute we thought! It totally got me in the mood for Valentines! And then on Sunday Corey surprised me with a new Ipod Nano! He is such a sweetheart. We had talked about it and decided we were not going to really buy anything for each other since we already spend enough money as it is! ha ha but it was really sweet and it was very unexpected which is always fun! I really do have such a great Valentine! Just havin him around is enough for me, he is so awesome. Anyways, i hope that everyone else had a great Valentines Day and remembered how lucky you are to have your loved ones! :)

I can't believe it has already been 2 years since i married Cor! Time has flown by but gone slow at the same time, it's weird. We have grown so much and learned so much. If someone would have told me when we were first married we would be where we are today in just 2 years there is no way i would have believed them! Corey is in his 2nd year of school, i am on the downhill side of being done with hair school, we have Sophie, we have our own house, we both have jobs we love, and we are both absolutely lovin' life! I am sure even without all those other things we would still be happy and lovin' life but we really have come a long way and i am proud of us and all we have been doing! I feel like i am one of the luckiest people in the world. I never dreamed I would be married to such a wonderful person. I always knew my heavenly father loved me but now I know how much he loves me for sending me such an amazing eternal companion. I guess you really do get what ya pray for! ha ha anyways I just feel so blessed in my life i just needed to share that. So for our anniversary we kinda just wanted to hang out and take it easy! Some of Corey's family was in town so we wanted to be with them and our anniversary is actually on Monday but who has time to celebrate anything on a Monday!?! So on Saturday we ended up going to see The Blindside, then a yummy dinner at Samurai 21 (Cor had never been to the Hibachi grill :)!!!), then Dairy Queen (for our weekly ice cream run), then we went and saw Sherlock Holmes! So 2 movies in one day crazy i know but we had fun! So we got to celebrate a little and still get in some family time! We are excited for yet another year together!

So we had a great Thanksgiving! I am grateful for so many things in my life but especially the two guys in the pictures above. I love my husband and my brother more than anything. They have been the two constant male influences in my life and they always make sure i am taken care of. I only have one sibling and that's Robby and we have been through a lot together and there were many times i wanted a sister or more siblings but now i wouldn't change that for the world. We have always been so close and made sure that we kept each other going. And my husband has been my saving grace in my life. He came along at a time that was very unexpected but it was absolutely perfect. He swept me off my feet then and still does now. I know that my Heavenly Father saved him just for me. I am so grateful for these men in my life. I love them so much and want them to know how much i appreciate them.

So i am a little late on posting this...but we have been pretty busy!! Anyways our vegas trip was fun...until we got sick...ha ha ha we had planned this little getaway for as soon as Cor got out of summer school so we could both just relax...Well we relaxed a lot! We got down there and we were fine the first two days but the 3rd day we got the flu. I had gotten tickets to go see LOVE the beatles Cirque Du Soleil but we made it all the way there and i thought i was going to die and i had no idea how i was going to sit through the show, so Corey went to see if we could get a rain check for another night and they ended up refunding our money! (which they never do..) So we got really lucky in that aspect. ha ha so we were going to just drive home that night even though our hotel room was paid for, but riding in the car was making it worse for me. So we stayed the night and got up at like 6 in the morning and drove home. And as soon as we got home Corey started getting really sick. We went to InstaCare because i had a fever of 103.5 which was not fun. Then the next morning we went to our family doctor who put us both on medicine which made us feel much better. But it was sad because we hardly ever get away and when we do we get sick! But looking back it was a fun memory that surely will NOT be forgotten... :)

Our 4th was such a blast! Neither one of us had to work on Friday so we headed up to Kolob Mountain to be with my family! We stayed the night, ate yummy food, went on a hike, and just played! It was so much fun to get a break! And it was sooo beautiful up there! Then we came back on friday night and on Saturday we went and saw Transformers 2. Not my favorite...but Corey liked ot so it was worth it! Then we all got together again with my family and had dinner at my aunts house and then went and watched the fireworks together downtown! It was so fun! We are so lucky to live in this free country! And to have such great family! We hope everyone also had a great holiday!

We have been havin the time of our lives lately! We had so much fun at the beach in San Diego! It was so awesome to get away and just lay on the beach and hear the waves! I forgot how cool it was. We have also been so lucky to get to have our nieces and new nephew here in town from Missouri! They are SO much fun! It's hard that they live so far away but we are hoping their dad (Corey's brother) will get to do his medical school rotations here in utah in a year or so so they will be closer! They are so much fun we love them. We have still been busy with school and work. Corey just started his summer school and has been doing awesome so far and we are both still just workin' hard and playin' hard! We can't wait for the fourth of July!

So we are headed to the beach in San Diego this week! We are so excited! We have'nt really gone on a vacation in a while so we are so happy to just get away from real life for a bit! Last time we went to the beach was when we decided we were getting married and I can't believe it's been almost two years since then! We are super excited! We have some fun family and friends goin too! So if you haven't gone on a summer vacation yet, get one planned quick! I am always thinkin we should just stay here and not take work off and save our money but lately i have realized that life is too short and you have to be level headed but everyone needs a break and a chance to have some careless fun! Sophie Warner

Here she is! We finally made the jump and got a dog! She is so sweet! So now when everyone else blogs about their kids we can blog about her! ha ha she is so fun! Her name is Sophie and she was born January 10th, 2009. She is a pug and has a LOT of energy! She is starting to calmdown though and grow out of her puppy stage! We got her April 11th in Provo. We are so glad to have her it is so much fun to have a little extra company around the house! We also just recentl bought our first house! So that has also been fun but a lot of work! We love it though! I also got the chance to go to the Britney Spears concert in Las Vegas on April 25th! It was so awesome! I know Britney is crazy but i love her! I will post pictures of that soon! Corey just finished up his first year of college too! He is so relieved but he only has about a month break and he goes back for summer school! He is doin so awesome! We have been so blessed these past couple of months!

We have had a super fun month of March! I love March not only because my birthday is in March but you see the first signs of Spring! It has really been so beautiful here and i just find myself tryin to find excuses to go outside! Anyways...I had a great 20th birthday! It was nice to spend time with friends and family! We went with a bunch of our friends to the returaunt Haven! It was really good! It was so fun to get to hang out with everyone! Don't let me fool you though we have still been way busy with school and work...! We have still managed to find time to play though! We also went with Corey's dad and his friends on what the boys call a "Poker Run." It was way fun! All these guys have old vintage cars and they all get together and have different stops and wherever they stop they draw a card out of a deck and whoever has the best hand at the end of the run wins a prize! It was way fun to have all the fun cars out drivin' around together! So so far we have had a great month and we have lots of things to be thankful for! And we hope all is well with everyone else! :)

Anyways, on a more important note...my grandparents just had their 50th Anniversary! They are so cute! I love them so much! I lived with them for quite a while when i was younger and i just think they are the greatest! They have been such wondeful examples to me in my life! I am so blessed to have such awesome grandparents!

So our Valentine's Day was awesome! Well ours kinda...wait i mean mine kinda strated on friday! I am a spoiled girl! My lovley Cor brought me some beautiful reds roses to work along with my favortie candy, Chocolate covered Cinnimon Bears! It was so cute! So i thought for sure that was my Valentine's treat! Heck that and the big hug and kiss he gave me was all i needed! It totally made my day! So we wake up on Saturday and We exchanged cards and then Corey whips out a bag and i look in it and it's a jewelry box! I couldn't believe it! I opened it up and it was a beautiful gold necklace with a diamond and a pearl on it! Call me crazy but i really like gold jewelry i think it's very unique and i love pearls! So i was very surprised! He is so wonderful! So then we just got ready and went out and saw some home show homes, which is always fun! And at four we had a couples massage scheduled so you can imagine how awesome that was! Then we decided instead of fighting the crowds we would just come home and cook dinner together! It was such a perfect day i didn'y want it to end! I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful Valentine!

We have been so busy with work and school....Sometimes I just wanna scream! ha But we are lovin' it! It's hard sometimes because we don't see much of each other except for weekends, but it has really helped us become closer (if that makes any sense!) We are truly blessed to have the opportunities that we both have to be in school and both work! Sometimes it's hard especially for me to look at it that way, but when it comes right down to it we have so many blessings to be thankful for, even if they are ones we may not love all the time!

So today is my lovely husband's birthday! We are going to be celebrating all week...but today is his actual day of birth! I will be posting more pictures of our week-long celebration later on...haha For now i want to share with everyone 25 things about him!

1-He can make anyone happy

2- He loves nature and everything that goes along with it

3-He has had like 5 different trucks within the last 4 years

4-He does what he says he is going to do and is always happy while doing it!

Halloween Night :)

So this is a little late but we had a way fun Halloween! I dressed up at work as and eighties girl, and then Halloween night we went up to Cedar with our good friends Brian and Jessica McCann and went to the Haunted Hospital! It was really fun! But a little scary...ha ha. The top picture was this past friday night when we were at our other friend's Brandon and Keia Blake's house. Ha ha ha ha ha we had just sat down to eat and Cor was shakin' up the ranch to put on his salad and it went all over the place! We couldn't believe it! It was really funny! good times!

Since i am treating this blog like somewhat of a journal...i have to write about my first haircutting experience! (On a real person) ha ha...so all day i was totally calm and thinking it was going to be so easy and non-stressful... and so i got to school at 5 and started to get so nervous and scared cuz i really did not want to mess up my friend Kenna's hair. So she sits down after i washed it and i was ready to make my first cut and my hands started shaking! I could not believe i was so scared! My hands have never shook from being scared! Ha ha but after the first few cuts i was fine! And it ended up turning out really cute! We took her hair about 2 inches shorter and cut it in an A-Line. It was super fun....after i got over the being scared part :)

So our weekend was a little nuts. We had dinner with some friends on friday night, played apples to apples, went to dairy queen, and watched Anchorman. It sounds pretty normal but we were all just lauging about everything all night. It was so much fun! Then Saturday night we had dinner with Corey's family because Collette and her husband were in town! So we had another fun night of laughin' about nothin! Some of my girlfriends from high school came over too and we all just had a blast! Corey and Collette were talking in a lisp all night and everyone was kidding around with everyone! Being part of the Warner family you really have to pick and fight your battles and tease or get teased! It is so much fun though! On our way home the new Britney Spears song came on and Corey and I just went a little crazy. It's all good though, we are Britney fans. Actually just me, but Corey plays along pretty well! :)

So we had a way fun weekend! It was so nice to just do what we wanted all weekend! It was nice to spend some nights with my hubby! Friday night we BBQ'ed with Cor's dad and his dad's friend Randy and Cor's good friend Nick. So yes...i was the only female, but it actually was a lot more fun than i thought it would be! After we BBQ'ed we looked at all Randy's cars. The top picture is me in my favorite car he had! The black Ferrari! It's kinda like my car that why i liked it....ha ha yea right, i wish! Then we went and got Dairy queen and came back to Randy's and watched Iron Man! It was a good one! Saturday we both worked in the morning, then we went shopping at Costco, Wal-Mart, and I dragged Cor around Roberts with me...He was a good sport though! Then we went to Cor's parents house and BBQ'ed again with his dad. (Cor's mom was out of town all weekend) And watched the new episode of Prison Break! And today i am makin' Cor watch Sleeping Beauty with me! It's my favorite Disney movie! Not really his fav though but like i said he is a good sport!

So It has been a while since Corey actually went to the lake...ha ha but i have been slow with gettin' pictures on lately! But the i thought these pictures were so fun i still wanted to put them on. So Cor went to that lake with Brandon, Keia, Travis, Teresa, Joel, and Brandon and Keia's families for Brandons 25th birthday! I had to work so i didn't get to go :( But Cor said it was a blast! Which i was so glad he got to go cuz he always works so hard and harldy gets time to play anymore so i was happy he got the chance to go hang out with some of his buddies!

Now that i am a little older i really do understand that life never gets easier or slows down! It only gets harder, longer, and faster! I love it though! Cor has been more and more busy with school and his job and i am still workin' and i have decided to go to hair school at Taylor Andrews! I start tomorrow! I can't even believe it! I have wanted to go to hair school since before i even got into high school, so i am excited to finally get started with something i have always wanted to do! I thought i better do it now before we bring kids into this crazy life! So I am excited, nervous, scared and anxious! I know it's going to be so much fun though! And my best friend's older sister is gonna be comin with me so at least i have one partner in crime! So that's my big announcement! Other than all that we have just been hanging out and lovin every second of life! Life couldn't be better!

Just a whole mess of school and work thats been takin up my time. We've got some things commin up though that might getcha goin though! We were so busy this weekend and i can't even remember what we did! Lets see...Friday...we got off work and went to Pizza Factory express for date night and it was so good! Then we went to Cor's parents house because they had the new episode of Prison Break recorded! So we just HAD to watch that! Then we went to our friends' Myles and Amanda's house! When we got there we decided to walk up to Maverick to look at redbox and get some treats! On our way back we were crossin' one of the streets and we saw a Huge scorpion! I wish i would have had my camera! It was so gross! Then of course the boys had to see if they could kill it by throwing rocks at it...boys...So they finally killed it and we walked back and the boys played Guitar Hero while Amanda and i sat on the couch and watched:) Then on Saturday, Cor and I got to sleep in which hardly ever happens on Saturdays so that was really nice:) Then we got up, washed my car, and my sweet husband helped me clean our whole house and hung some pictures that had needed to be hung forever! He is so awesome he scrubbed the kitchen floors, cleaned the guest bathroom, cleaned the whole kitchen, vacuumed the whole house, and shook my rugs! He is always so willing to help me! He also took care of me all week when i was sick! Thanks so much babe, i love you! Then we got ready and went to our friend Layth's birthday party! Then after that we were gonna go see Get Smart with some friends at the dollar theatre, but we decided to just rent one instead! So we watched Just Married and i fell asleep like always during movies! On Sunday, my grandparents gave their Homecoming talk and we had a luncheon after then we went to our ward! It was such an eventful weekend but it was way fun!

Life is getting more and more hectic each day! It seems nothin ever slows down! I have been busy busy busy since i can't even remember! But i love it! It keeps me on my toes! Sometimes i get doin too much and my body lets me know it's time to slow down! Cor and I spent most of our night at the Insta Care...I know no fun at all right? I was just not feeling too good and i think my body was tellin me to slow down! But we went and got some perscriptions and now i am feeling much better! Nothing serious...but serious enough to make me realize i need to be healthier! It really made me grateful that for the most part i am healthy! But it's always good to get a reminder when you are takin' somethin' for granted! Anyways...we are doing good now! We are just gonna keep pluggin' along doin what we do! But keepin in mind how lucky we are that we are healthy and we need to keep it that way! :)

Labor Day weekend was so so so much fun! Even though we had a million things that needed to be done at home we just took off! We started the weekend off by going to Famous Dave's...(which i was not so impressed) and Spoon Me (which we are totally the best frozen yogurt ever)...Anyways, then on Saturday we decided to go buy a tent, and air mattress, and some camping chairs...which was weird cuz we hardly ever...actually never just go and buy stuff cuz we want it! So we were gonna take it all out and try it but then the weather did not cooperate with us like we wanted so we drove up to Pine Valley to stay the night at Cor's friend Nick's cabin. On Sunday we went on a little four-wheeler ride, had a BBQ and made Raspberry Peach cobbler...so so so yummy! Then we drove home. On Monday morning we drove up to Kolob with our friends Brandon and Keia to their cabin and rode four-wheelers, Rhino's and horses all day! It was so much fun! I wish weekends like that could last forever! We apologize that all the pictures are basically just us...but it's hard when we don't have kids yet! But we have to show how much fun we have right? :)

So my lovely husband is startin' school tomorrow! I am so excited but at the same time i know i won't have as much free time with him! But we know this is what we need to be doin! Nothing good ever comes easy! I have to remind myself of that everyday! I am just so thankful that Cor is such a hard worker and will do ANYTHING he needs to to supporthis family. This is a big step for him and he is ready and willing for anything that comes his way! I truly feel so blessed and lucky that this amazing man chose me! I know this is kinda sappy...ha ha but i really am just so proud of him and I know i got the best of the bunch! At least for me! Anyone who knows Corey well can't argue with anything i say about him! He is the best person I know! Cor if you ever read this, i want ya to know how much i love you and how lucky i feel to be your wife! I still can't believe out of everyone i got ya! This has been the longest two weeks of my life! ;)

Well what can I say? Boys will be boys! I just had to take some pictures of Cor and his dad takin the Nova out for a spin! They are seriously get smiles on their faces like two kids in a candy store when they fire up the engine! It's so cute! Cor's little sister, Whitney and i went with them on a ride tonight! We even cruised the 'vard! Ha ha we had so much fun! In a few weeks we are gonna go down with Corey's dad to Midnight Mayhem in Vegas to race "the shiz out of her" (Corey told me to type that!) We are both awaiting the day when we can get a sweet car like this of our own! Get er' Done! Ha ha!

So we had our first ward activity tonight being in charge of the Activities Commitee in our ward! I was fun! We defiantly know what we need to improve on, but all in all it came together pretty well! I am the stress case out of Cor and I ha ha (no surprise to those of you who know me well!)...I was stressin all last week about makin everything perfect for the activity, and I am just thankful I have Cor to help me realize nothing is ever perfect, and that's what makes it fun and interesting! He helps me everyday to realize little things like this, I am so greatful that I have someone that knows my weaknesses and strengths, and can fill in anywhere in between! I love you babe and things will only get better and better! Thanks for being you!

If you can't tell yet this is the male of the household. My wife told me to put that. Just bein obedient as always! So life is swell round here! We're just a workin and playin when we can! Red box has been a close friend to us lately, bless its heart! The old school is startin for me yippyiokiyaye (if thats spelled right). Its gonna be a good push for the old manor though, it'll give me more hair on my knuckles! I'd also like to take a bit of this time and tell my wife how greatfull I am for her! I like to compare myself to a farmer who has worked and saved his whole life to just be able to make it. I did the workin and savin part, but not only did I make it. We went to Disneyland and the beach together last October with Corey's family. This is where Corey told me he wanted to marry me! So I like to call it the first engagement. He didn't purpose but He asked me to marry him:) We had so much fun! It was one of the funnest trips I have ever been on!
